Clint Alderman

A photo of potter, Clint AldermanClint Alderman is a folk potter and artist from northeast Georgia who began making pottery in 1995 and making paintings in 2002. His pottery is fired in a wood-fired kiln, glazed with an ash glaze, and is made using locally dug clay. His paintings feature scenes of the rural south and historical subjects and are framed in 19th century wood salvaged from historic homes. In 2016 he was a guest speaker at the Georgia Museum of Art and his work has been included in various exhibitions and museums over his 30 year career. These include:
