was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1943. After growing up in the Midwest, Ed moved to New England where he resided for about 10 years. While there, his interest led him to travel the rural areas and sea coasts which would later inspire his paintings.
Ed and his wife, Elaine, moved to Georgia over 30 years ago. In his sixties, Ed retired from his fire department job and
began to experiment with painting. He’d enjoyed drawing as a child, and was encouraged by his mother who drew and painted.
Though he has never had an art lesson, Ed finds he likes expressing himself without the need to follow any rules. “I like using my imagination and painting what I feel and what I’ve seen in my life. I view the scenery from my own perspective, trying to capture my perceptions in my work.”
Note: There is no additional charge for shipping/handling inside the continental U.S., except where noted on individual pieces of artwork. Tax is charged to Georgia buyers only.
